Love Architects
Cookie Notice
1. WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers used by websites to make features work, remember choices, protect services and, where permitted, understand how people use a website.
2. HOW LOVE ARCHITECTS WILL USE COOKIES
Love Architects should use cookies only where they have a clear purpose.
The launch model should separate cookies into the following categories.
A. STRICTLY NECESSARY
Required for the website to function, maintain security, remember privacy choices, operate forms or provide a service requested by the user.
These do not require opt-in consent where they are genuinely essential.
B. ANALYTICS / PERFORMANCE
Used to understand how visitors use the website, which pages are useful, how people arrive and where the experience can be improved.
These should not fire before consent where consent is required.
C. FUNCTIONAL
Used to remember optional choices or enable non-essential embedded features.
Consent position depends on the actual technology and purpose; treat as non-essential unless confirmed otherwise.
D. MARKETING / ADVERTISING
Used for advertising, remarketing, audience measurement or cross-site tracking.
Love Architects does not currently need these for the MVP. If added later, they must remain off until valid consent is obtained.
3. CONSENT MODEL
The website should:
• show a clear cookie/consent control on first visit where non-essential technologies are present;
• give an equally clear route to accept or reject non-essential cookies;
• avoid pre-ticked or assumed consent;
• keep non-essential analytics, marketing and similar tags blocked until consent;
• allow users to change their preference later through a persistent Cookie Settings link;
• record the consent state appropriately;
• avoid making access to core website content conditional on accepting optional cookies.
4. WORKING LAUNCH POSITION
Preferred MVP position:
• essential cookies only by default;
• analytics enabled only through a compliant consent mechanism;
• no advertising/remarketing cookies at launch unless specifically approved;
• embedded tools reviewed before use because video, maps, chat, scheduling or social embeds can introduce third-party cookies.
5. COOKIE REGISTER
The cookies and similar technologies used by the website may change as the site develops. Where consent is required, choices will be controlled through the website’s consent settings.
We will keep this notice under review so it reflects the technologies actually used on the website.
6. LIKELY TECHNOLOGIES TO REVIEW
Depending on final implementation:
• WordPress / CMS cookies;
• security / anti-spam technology;
• consent-management platform;
• Google Analytics or alternative analytics;
• Google Search / measurement technologies where relevant;
• HubSpot forms / CRM tracking;
• embedded maps;
• embedded video;
• font/CDN services;
• scheduling or chat tools;
• performance monitoring;
• any Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads or other advertising tags if introduced later.
7. COOKIE SETTINGS
Customer-facing wording:
You can accept or reject optional cookies when you first visit the site and change your choice later through Cookie Settings. Essential cookies used to provide the website or a service you request cannot always be switched off.
8. BROWSER CONTROLS
Visitors can also control or delete cookies through their browser. Blocking some essential cookies may affect how the site works.
9. CHANGES
The cookie notice and cookie register should be updated whenever the website adds, removes or materially changes tracking, embedded services or consent technology.
